Amritsar

Amritsar, a dynamic city recognised for its cultural heritage, religion, and cuisine, is closely tied with the history of Sikhism. But, above all, it is famous for being the location of two iconic attractions in the country: the beautiful Golden Temple and the historical site of Jallianwala Bagh. A two-day journey to Amritsar will provide you with adequate opportunities to visit the city's historical and religious sites. You may also experience the Punjabi way of life by indulging in lip-smacking dishes, dancing to bhangra tunes, street shopping, and more.

Here's a detailed itinerary describing how to spend your two days in Punjab's holiest city.
