This itinerary is designed to take in the city's key attractions while also giving you time to unwind. A journey, no matter how brief it is, can't be enjoyable if it's jam-packed with activities and no time to unwind.

Day 1 

1.) City Palace, Jaipur

Right in the heart of Jaipur, the City Palace transports you to a time of regal grandeur and splendour. As one of Jaipur's must-see attractions, the palace offers a stunning confluence between Rajput and Mughal forms of construction. Stepping inside is like stepping into a another universe, complete with expansive halls, courts and gardens as well as palaces, royal houses and museums. An entire museum is dedicated to the royal lifestyle. Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II and Sawai Madho Singh I's imperial clothes are kept in the museum.

2.) Hawa Mahal

When you think of the Pink City, the image of the Hawa Mahal immediately comes to mind. It is an important monument in the city, established in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. The brilliant white marble building is set against the lush green backdrop of Moti Dungri Hill and offers a picture of breathtaking beauty. It is one of Jaipur's biggest temples, with pictures and lines from the Bhagavad Gita adorning its walls. When illuminated in the evening, this white marble temple takes on a fantastic look against the landscape of the night sky.

5.) Amer fort, Jaipur

A journey to Jaipur would be incomplete without a visit to the magnificent Amer Fort and Palace. Amer Fort, the most luxurious of Jaipur's forts, exhibits architectural brilliance and regal majesty. The luxurious palace within the fort is built on four floors. The Sheesh Mahal, or Palace of Mirrors, is one of the fort's main attractions. This magnificent structure is built with a pattern of sparkling mirrors and glass set all around the walls and ceiling. Inside the fort, you may also take an elephant ride or browse for handicrafts.

6.) Nahargarh Fort

For hundreds of years, the Nahargarh Fort has stood watch over the city of Jaipur. Along with the Jaigarh Fort and the Amer Fort, it was originally part of Jaipur's great defence ring. This fort was utilised as a hunting lodge by the Jaipur royal family. The Nahargarh Fort's fortress walls extended those of the Jaigarh Fort, uniting the two forts. A visit to Nahargarh would also provide you with stunning views of Jaipur.

7.) Jal Mahal, Jaipur

Jal Mahal, a beautiful five-story palace in the heart of Man Sagar Lake, is another jewel in the city of Jaipur. When the lake is full, four of these stories are submerged. Only the top floor is visible above the water, giving the impression that the palace is floating on the lake. The architecture of the palace is in the Rajput style.  However, you can appreciate its beauty by enjoying a leisurely boat trip on Man Sagar Lake and getting close-up look of the palace.

8.) Bapu Bazar, Jaipur

It would be a waste to leave Jaipur without engaging in some soulful shopping. Bapu Bazar is one of Jaipur's most active and dynamic shopping districts. Amritsar, a dynamic city recognised for its cultural heritage, religion, and cuisine, is closely tied with the history of Sikhism. But, above all, it is famous for being the location of two iconic attractions in the country: the beautiful Golden Temple and the historical site of Jallianwala Bagh. A two-day journey to Amritsar will provide you with adequate opportunities to visit the city's historical and religious sites. You may also experience the Punjabi way of life by indulging in lip-smacking dishes, dancing to bhangra tunes, street shopping, and more.

Here's a detailed itinerary describing how to spend your two days in Punjab's holiest city.

Day1

In Early Morning:- We recommend that you begin your first day in Amritsar by seeing the city's most renowned attraction, the Golden Temple, also known as Harmandir Sahib. The temple, one of the most prominent gurudwaras in the world and the holiest site for Sikhs, situated within a calm water body, providing tourists with a captivating vista. 

Golden Temple 

Morning:- Look for other places to see near the Golden Temple. Many more attractions, including historical landmarks and religious structures, may be found in and surrounding the Golden Temple complex. Take a leisurely stroll around the temple to see some of these sites before heading to Jallianwala Bagh, another must-see historical site in Amritsar. Jallianwala Bagh, an everlasting memory of one of the most poignant chapters in India's freedom movement, is easily accessible on foot from Harmandir Sahib.

Afternoon:- Visit Durgiana Temple, Durgiana Temple is one of the most important Hindu sanctuaries in Amritsar, providing a look into the city's religious history. The beautiful architecture of the temple, which is located in the centre of a lake, bears a striking resemblance to the Golden Temple. This 16th-century shrine dedicated to Goddess Durga, also known as Lakshmi Narayan Temple, has a pair of elaborately carved silver doors.

Timings:- 6:00am to 9:00pm

Durgiana Temple

Evening:- Visit Wagah Border, then a short bite at the well-known Sarhad Restaurant. The Wagah Border, or Attari-Wagah, is located on the Radcliffe Line and acts as a border crossing and transit point between India and Pakistan. The Beating Retreat and Change of Guard event, which takes place here every evening, is a visual treat that attracts hundreds of tourists. To ensure a seat, be at the border at least an hour before the ceremony.

After the ceremony, satisfy your appetite with traditional delicacies from Amritsari and Lahori cuisines at the Sarhad Restaurant, which is about 2 kilometres from the border.

Wagah Border

Night:- Relax and enjoy your meal. You're itching to stretch your legs and relax in the luxury of your own bed after a hard day, aren't you? Dinner can be served at the hotel or at a nearby restaurant. Get a good night's sleep to re-energize yourself for another day of sightseeing the next day.

Day 2

Morning:- Amritsar's most popular tourist destination, the Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum, is the perfect place to start your second day. There's an interesting museum in one of Maharaja Ranjit Singh's summer palaces that gives you an insight into his life and times through antiques and archive records from his court.

Timings:- 9:00am-7:00pm, closed on Mondays

Afternoon:- Explore Gobindgarh Fort, Gobindgarh Fort is more than just a historical structure; it is also a living heritage museum. Spend some time within this magnificent 18th-century fort to learn more about its illustrious past and to appreciate its various attractions.

What to do:- Admire the fort's architectural splendour. Observe folk performances, Enjoy enjoyable activities such as dancing to the beat of dhol, trying your hand at pottery making,  and so on. Pay a visit to Pagdi and the Sikh Art Museum.  Haat Bazaar is a great place to buy handicrafts.

Timings:- 10:00am-9:00pm

Gobindgarh Fort

Evening:- At Hall Bazar, you may buy some local items. Hall Bazaar, one of Amritsar's oldest and liveliest markets, is a shopper's dream. It provides an astonishing range of dress fabrics and designer dresses with delicate Phulkari work, among other things.

Night:- Proceed to Lawrence Road for a wonderful meal, Whether you want to sink into a delicious platter of Amritsari tikkas and kulchas, taste some desi desserts, or simply relax with a cup of coffee and some munchies, Lawrence Road has various options.

Where to eat:- Zyka Restaurant, Sanjha Chulha, Chawlas 2, Formos and many more.

You must be completely tired by this point. Call it a day, return to your Hotel, Airport, railway station, and close the door on your Amritsar journey.
